I named it Fear.

I am the one who Hides.

I try to run but I am frozen. I cannont move physically or emotionally. I cannot grow, or mature. I am stuck, I am so afraid, I must protect myself. I need to hide, I build walls, thick and high. Even I can't find my way out.

I'm always watching. Looking and waiting for the bad thing to happen. And it will, because it always has. I notice everything, but I keep it to myself. I take your panic and hold it for you. I have always lived in the shadows.

I give you your keen powers of observation, your ability to fade into the background, your sixth sense for danger. I help you to be safe.

I want you to protect me, love me, nurture me. Don't deny me or hate me. I want us to work together so that I can come out into the light.
