I spoke with my mortgage company today and started the ball rolling to refinance the house. It's looking good. I can pay off my car and still get the monthly payment lowered. The guy seemed to think it was a done deal, he's mailing me the papers. Yay!

So no car payment, that's $300.00 a month I don't have to pay, and it brings the monthly payment down by $200. I'm actually going to come out ahead. It's a lower interest rate, and only extends my current loan by 3 years. I think the money fairy was smiling on me today.

We did out big presentation today, it went great. I had major problems obtaining the projector(that I had reserved and confirmed twice). I got bumped by the second in line from the president of the company. I spent 2 hours tracking down another one, only to find it had missing parts. I spent another hour getting the missing power cord, got everything working, went downstairs to take a break, (I had missed lunch by this point) and when I got back, the cord was missing again!!! (but I was only gone 10 minutes...) Finally I had everything I needed and people started arriving, and R did her presentation and it was fabulous. She did all the research, I put it into PowerPoint,( after teaching myself how to, and then teaching her) made it flow, found the pictures, corrected all the grammar and miss-spellings, and she did the presentation. She really knew her stuff, and was conversational and easy to listen to. She stayed within her time limit and people paid attention. Unlike last months when they talked through most of L's presentation. So all in all a good day.
