This guy was standing out in the rain today at work. He didn't look too happy about it either. It was quite the storm, tunder and lightening as the great Bob Marley says. The electricity went out a couple of times, but came right back on again.

I've not been doing anything even remotely interesting. Acutally I've been a bit depressed. Feels like changes are coming. So I'm trying to enjoy this down time.

what I did las weekend

I did a distance Reiki attunement last weekend for a friend of mine. It was the first time I have done one that way, and it went really well. I'm excited for her, she is so special, and this will add to her abilities.
I had a really good meditation afterwards, very deep, I met some new guides, AND new animal guides, and received the Isis Blue Moon attunement from a friend. Amazing stuff. I had so much energy the rest of the weekend. I received validation that I am on the right path, and to quit being so timid. I started a new journal, and I'm already a quarter of the way through it, thats a lot of energy!
I also went to a quilt show, my first one. I went by myself, and had a fabulous time. I have pictures of some of the quilts on my flicker page. I bought some applique patterns, a "beginners" of dolphins surrounding a circle of waves, but I think I'm going to make the center pattern the Earth. I got three advanced patterns that were just to pretty to pass up. I think they will be very challanging, I probably won't work on them for a long time. They are Manatees, Turtles, and Pelicans. I also bought a beautiful panel of fabric, Aisan styling, purple with cranes flying over waves. I got the coordinating fabrics to make a wall hanging, I can't wait to start on it. But first I must finish my jounaling project.
Yesterday Patrick, Sam and I went to the park for a picnic. It was beautiful, I have pics up of that also. The place was packed, wall to wall people, but on the nature trails you could still imagine life here hundreds of years ago. Probably not too different from the way my people were living up in Georgia on the river. Very different from the other side of the family though, no jungles in Ireland!
The love bugs are out in full force. OMG you should see the front of my car. There are probably 3000 dead bugs. And we were only driving for about 30 minutes. Seems like they are worse during drought years.

I've been exploring my and others psychic abilities.

I met this woman, online of course, Harmony, she has amazing talent. She's been doing these mass healings, for free. She's also done a couple of individual healings/chakra balancings. and wow.

what a difference. I've been able to release a lot of old crap that has been holding me back. grief, shame, fear.

She credits God for everything she does. And I have to say that she's got me beleiving. Nothing like a little personal experience of miracles to make a beleiver out of people. First I lay down making myself comfortable with pillows under my knees and neck, becuase I'll be in one postition for about 45 minutes. I've done this with meditation music on and without. I prefer no music. I allowed myself 15 minutes to meditate before we were scheduled to begin. I invite the angels to be with me to protect me from harm, keep me safe. The first two times she did the healing, I didn't meditate, and I got some good results, but much better the last two times when I did meditate. I think the better results might be because she is also getting better at what she does. And the more I open up, the more I get. So each one has seen more positive changes, faster and easier. I can actually feel her start. There's a whoosh of energy, a tap, yes and actual physical tap on my forehead, then tingling in my hips and warmth in my lower abdomen. Thats when the light show starts. Depending on what she's working on, I get different colors. Purple, gold, orange, red. Once I kept getting the image of a white dove. I get a lot of visions when she works on me. Afterwords, the psychic gifts are stronger. The last time the next day I was able to release alot of guilt and shame. I didn't even know thats what was holding me back. But the readings are starting to come easier, I'm tuned in better to my guides, and I've started lessons again in my dreams. I am so completely thankful and gratefull for the opportunities that have been put in my path. peace

spring

this is what my son and I did two weekends ago. It took us 2 days, we had to dig out a huge bush/tree that the birds had planted. the root was about half the size of the tree trunk in the photo. So that was the first day, then on Sunday we planted. It's been two weeks and so far nothings dead.

wedding fun

Here I am getting ready for the reahersal dinner on Saturday. I had about 8 inches cut off my hair and now it's curling.

The wedding went well, the bride and groom looked very happy. The food was excellent, the decorations beautiful. The weather cooperated, sunny with a nice cool breeze, and a full moon that evening.

I had a great time, and the BF looked so good in a tuxedo. All the girls were calling him Mr. Bond. Of course he changed right after the pictures were finished into his standard uniform of shorts and his favorite Hank Williams t-shirt.
